- 0.75 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp fresh ginger, sliced
- 1 cup water
- 4 cups sparkling water
- 4 fresh rosemary sprigs, for garnish
steps
1. make the syrup
simmer the cranberries, sugar, ginger, and water together until the cranberries burst and the syrup thickens.
2. strain the syrup
strain out the solids, pressing to get the full syrup, then cool.
3. build
pour 2-3 tbsp of syrup into each glass, top with sparkling water and ice.
4. garnish
garnish with a fresh rosemary sprig and a few whole cranberries.
